Requirements for opening a Singapore Company
Company name: Company name must be approved and registered with ACRA
Shareholder: No residency requirements. According to the Company Act of Singapore, anyone over the age of 18 years can start a business in Singapore. So foreign persons over the age of 18 can be a 100% shareholder of a Singapore company.
Directors: At least one director is required who is either Singapore Citizen, Singapore Permanent Resident or EntrePass holder.
Registered Business Address: A local registered business address in Singapore is required for company office
Company Secretary: At least one corporate secretary must be appointed within six months from the incorporation date of the company
A registered filing agent (may be an accounting firm, law firm, or a corporate secretarial firm) to complete the registration process.
